Pauline Ahlhaus is a researcher at the German Federal Foundation for Gender Equality. She holds a Master's degree in Gender Studies.
Her professional experience as a freelance consultant includes advising the multi-donor Mitigation Action Facility and the GIZ Equal Opportunities Officers.
Previously, she worked as a Junior Planning Officer at the GIZ Gender Desk, in the GIZ Sectoral Department, in the Competence Centre for Rule of Law, Security, Human Rights and Gender, and as Managing Director of the Berlin Women's Council.
