Short introduction

Social anthropologist with ten years’ experience in designing, implementing, and analyzing qualitative research on smallholder livelihoods, land rights, land use, and food security in Sub-Saharan Africa. Complex understanding of gender issues at the intersection with tenure rights and farming innovations and mainstreaming of land tenure research questions in the impact assessment of agricultural technologies. In-depth knowledge of concepts, approaches and research frameworks that look at gender equality and social inclusion through an intersectional lens and capacity to mainstream these in the field of rural development. Experience in organizing and moderating meetings, webinars, and trainings addressing a diverse range of stakeholders. Research and work experience with several institutions in Africa and Europe, including governmental and non-governmental organizations.
