Short introduction
Heike Spohr is agricultural engineer and certified mediator. She combines professional experiences from having worked many years abroad as well as in Germany, as staff member as well as in leadership positions with personnel management responsibility. Since 2012, she is working as independent consultant and gender expert in Germany and abroad.
She is member of the Expert Network of the European Institute for Gender Equality and the German Platform for Peaceful Conflict Management, and as certified and licenced mediator she is member of the German Federal Association of Mediation, as well as certified member of the mediator pool of the Competency Center for Nature Conservancy and Energy Transition (KNE), Berlin.
She has profound professional experience in the fields of gender, natural resource management, climate change, violence prevention, conflict management. Participatory, gender, context and conflict sensitive approaches/ methods form the basis of her professional activities.
