Short introduction

I have 15 years of experience with women’s political representation and 10 years of progressive collaboration with the UN (UNDP, UNW and UNFPA). In my current position at UN Women, I am responsible for developing knowledge products and providing substantive inputs to include women and girls in the response to the pandemic crisis. Aside from UN, I co-coordinate a group at the Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – “Elected Women”, and have recently concluded a post-doctoral project at the research group “50 Years of Feminism - Brazil, Argentina and Chile” (see my most recent books “Democracy and Brazil: Collapse and Regression” and “Gender and Feminisms: Argentina, Brazil and Chile”).
